I can’t wait to meet you and discover all the things that make you the unique person you are for your photos!   A little about me….

 

I’m one of those creative types:  Besides my obvious love of photography, I’m also a theater girl—I studied acting, musical theater and dance—and am also very into figure skating, music, poetry and journalism!   For me it’s all about the moments—feeling them, expressing them, celebrating them and capturing them to relive again and again!  I’m also “that” friend, the girl at the party with camera in hand who will gladly get down and dirty for the perfect angle! 

 

I am your go-to wedding, couples, & lifestyle photographer.  I would describe my signature photo style timeless, romantic and cozy. I'm a storyteller, and I utilize a documentary style to tell your love story. I love the vibrancy of the city, the beauty of nature, a roaring fireplace, a swing on your front porch or a simple setting with you as the sole focus—we can incorporate any array of elements to achieve the look you want!   Check out my gallery for ideas or let’s create something brand new and exciting together! 

 

A few credential facts:  I studied photography at Harrington College of Design and achieved my Bachelor’s degree from ISU.  I have worked for local photographers in both field and in-studio work, in addition to my own range of freelance experience.  I also work with an astounding make-up artist, should you have an interest in that!

 

Ways to my heart:  God; my cat, O’Malley; chai lattes on the lakefront; anything pistachio; theatre, music, figure skating, rock climbing and yoga; family; and discovering what leads to yours!
